EAGLE, Idaho — UPDATE: According to the Idaho State Police, traffic in the area is expected to be back up and running as of 1:37 pm.
According to ISP, who is currently investigating the crash, at approximately 11:01 am a 63-year-old male driver drove a Belly Dump Semi off the roadway and over corrected, causing the vehicle to oveturn.
The driver has been transported to a local hospital.
Police are clearing the scene on SH-16 North of Beacon Light Rd where a tipped semi truck is currently blocking both lanes of traffic.
The Eagle Police released the traffic alert following the crash at 12:16 pm on June 11.
Traffic is being diverted off the roadway while officers respond to the situation.
Updates are expected to come from the Eagle Police, currently the details of the crash have not been released.
