Sean Everson

Sean Everson is no stranger to Omaha, or the weather — he was born and raised right here in Omaha.

His earliest weather memories include the October Snowstorm in 1997 that dropped a foot of snow in the metro area.

Sean attended Creighton Prep and then went on to Saint Louis University where he earned a B.S. in Meteorology.

Right after graduation, Sean began his career at KQTV in St. Joseph, Mo. as the weekday morning meteorologist.

For two years he forecasted all types of weather — nothing out of the ordinary for someone who grew up in the Midwest!

When Sean is not forecasting, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing golf, being active, and a good board game.

Sean is an avid sports fan. His favorite pro teams include the Denver Broncos and Houston Astros. He’s excited to be back in the land of Nebraska football!

On the hardwood, Sean roots for his alma mater, the Saint Louis Billikens, as well as Creighton Bluejay basketball.
