Maddie Augustine

Maddie, who grew up in the Millard area, graduated from Millard West High School – where she first found her love for journalism. She was named the 2019 Nebraska High School Journalist of the Year.

Maddie went to Missouri State University where she played on the women’s soccer team and won the Missouri Valley Conference Title, while majoring in journalism with a minor in marketing.

She worked as an anchor and reporter for Ozarks News Brief — the student run news broadcast at Missouri State.

In her free time, Maddie enjoys lake days, taking her puppy for walks, trying out different local restaurants, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
