Pottawattamie County is asking victims of recent severe weather events to fill out a survey to assess current and future needs. The survey is only for events in April and May. According to officials, the data will help connect residents with assistance programs, identify gaps in aid and more.“It’s critical we hear directly from those impacted by disaster,” Doug Reed, Emergency Management Director for Pottawattamie County, said in a statement. “Learning about ongoing or future challenges our residents are facing provides the information needed to activate additional assistance programs and facilitates efforts to create innovative solutions to meet the needs of those suffering.” To complete the survey, Pottawattamie County residents can call West Center Community Action at 712-322-2621, Visit their site on West Broadway in Council Bluffs, or click here.Click here for the latest headlines from KETV NewsWatch 7
