KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas City man is facing multiple felony charges in connection with a fatal shooting from last month.

Along with that felony charge, Harris Jr. also faces two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, three counts of armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm and tampering with a motor vehicle.
Harris Jr. is accused of being the man who shot and killed 29-year-old Taylor Thomas.

Police said they were called to the 3200 block of E. Linwood Blvd., near Central Park, on reports of a shooting after midnight on Monday, June 17. When they arrived, they found Thomas in the grass near a road. She had gunshot wounds and later died.
Court documents claim a witness told detectives a man later identified as Harris Jr. shot Thomas. Surveillance video captured the suspect shooting the victim.
