Lee’s Summit man ejected, killed in early morning crash

LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. (KCTV) - In the early morning hours of July 8, just after midnight, a Lee’s Summit man was killed in a single-car crash.

It happened on the northbound I-470 ramp to NE Woods Chapel Road.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports Lee A. Logsdon, 42, was thrown from his 2007 Mercury Milan when he failed to negotiate a curve on the exit ramp of I-470.

Logsdon was not wearing a seatbelt and was officially pronounced deceased at Centerpoint Hospital a short time later.

Again, no other vehicles or people were involved in the crash.
