LONDON (KCTV) - Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes continued his European vacation Friday at the All-England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, taking in an epic five-set match at Wimbledon.

Mahomes and his wife Brittany attended Friday’s match between American Francis Tiafoe and Spanish major champion Carlos Alcaraz.

The match went five sets and saw the defending Wimbledon champion Alcaraz escape a fourth-set tiebreak to advance to the fourth round with a 5-7, 6-2, 4-6, 7-6, 6-2 win.

“Great match!!!” Mahomes tweeted following the action. “Much respect to @FTiafoe @carlosalcaraz”

Mahomes has a few weeks left in the off-season before returning to the practice fields at Missouri Western for training camp in St. Joseph late this July.

Earlier this week, Mahomes was at BST Hyde Park in London for a Morgan Wallen concert. He’s traveled throughout Europe over the past several weeks.

This fall, he’ll attempt to lead the Chiefs to the first three-peat in the Super Bowl era of NFL history.
