POWER THEFT. AN OLYMPIAN AND YOUTH WRESTLING COACH IN ROSEVILLE CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT AGAINST MINORS WAS IN COURT TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME. ANDREA FLORES IS HERE NOW WITH THE NEW INFORMATION WE’RE LEARNING. EDDIE, TODAY WE LEARNED BOTH VICTIMS SAY QUINCY, CLERK SEXUALLY ASSAULTED THEM WHILE HE WAS THEIR WRESTLING COACH AND BOTH VICTIMS SAY THE CRIMES HAPPENED WHILE TRAINING WITH HIM IN HIS GARAGE. POLICE ARRESTED CLARK ON TUESDAY TODAY. HE APPEARED IN COURT BY VIDEO. A JUDGE READ THE TEN CHARGES AGAINST HIM PROPOSED. EDUCATORS SAY THE CRIMES HAPPENED OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS. DURING TODAY’S HEARING, THE PROSECUTOR READ VICTIM IMPACT STATEMENTS, ONE FROM THE PARENTS OF A VICTIM, THE OTHER FROM ONE OF THE VICTIMS HERSELF. THAT HURT AND PAIN THIS MAN HAS CAUSED HER CHILD AND HER FAMILY IS INDESCRIBABLE. OUR CHILD TRUSTED THIS AND CONFIDED IN THIS MAN AND HE VIOLATED THAT RELATIONSHIP. HE HAS SHOWN HIMSELF TO BE A TRUE PREDATOR. WHEN EVERYTHING HAPPENED. I WAS YOUNG AND NAIVE AND NOT FULLY UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS HAPPENING. I WAS UNCOMFORTABLE AROUND EVEN THOUGH I AM IN ANOTHER CITY NOW. THE THOUGHT OF HIM BEING AN ACTIVE MEMBER IN THE ROSEVILLE COMMUNITY TERRIFIES. Roseville wrestling coach is sentenced over sexual assaults with minors
An Olympian and youth wrestling coach in Roseville was sentenced to 19 years and four months after a jury found him guilty of sexually assaulting minors, the Placer County District Attorney's Office said. Quincey Clark was accused of repeatedly assaulting minor victims while training them in his home wrestling gym. He was found guilty during a trial in April and sentenced on Monday. (Previous coverage in video above.)Victims were present in court for the sentencing, the DA's office said. Clark was arrested in 2022 and accused of crimes from July 2022 through September 2022. He competed in the Sydney Olympics in 2000 in wrestling. According to the California Wrestling Hall of Fame website, Clark had been inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2015.
