The Team My58 & Team Estrella Casting Call Has Ended

If you are outgoing, energetic, extremely reliable and have an excellent work ethic, we are looking for you! This part-time position puts you in the middle of the action at some of the year’s biggest events.You will be a complete marketing ambassador for My58 & Estrella TV Sacramento, representing our stations onsite at events and in promos that air on My58 and Estrella TV Sacramento. It's an opportunity that's fun, flexible and gives you great experience!MUST BE 18 OR OLDER, ABLE TO LIFT 50 LBS & WORK A PART-TIME SCHEDULE INCLUDING NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS.If you think you have what it takes to be part of Team My58 or Team Estrella, come to our open casting call. You don't need to register ahead of time, just show up at Roseville Kia on Saturday, March 23 from 10am to 1pm. Please do not line up before 9:45am.We will ask you a few questions about yourself and have you recite a script on camera. If you are fluent in Spanish, you will recite both the English and Spanish scripts. If you don't speak Spanish, you don't need to worry about the Spanish script. You can practice the script(s) below, because there won't be a teleprompter.Being fluent in English and Spanish is required for Team Estrella. However, Spanish is not required for Team My58.FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)How many hours a week is the job? This is an extremely part-time job. Hours vary greatly week to week. You might work as much as 10-15 hours in a week or as little as zero hours in a week depending on the number of events we have going on. Most events take place nights and weekends so you must be available to work nights and weekends.What kind of people are you looking for? We are looking for outgoing, energetic people who love to go to events and interact with the public. We are especially looking for people who are fluent in Spanish. And, of course, you have to be fun to work with… because we are! No experience is necessary, but you must be 18 or older. If you have any on-camera experience, that's a huge plus too.What are some of the perks of the job? You get to be in promos on TV. You get paid to go to fun events around town and you get to work with fun people, like us!What do I need to bring with me to the casting call? Bring your energetic personality! You can also bring any other materials that you want us to consider, like head shots or demo reels, but those are not required.What will I be doing at the casting call? Dress as if you were a host for an entertainment television station. No need to wear a suit and tie or high heels!Can I bring friends and family with me? Yes, but they will not be able to accompany you during your actual audition.Do I need to get there early to make sure I get a spot? Nope! We ask that you arrive no earlier than 9:45am. The auditions will run from 10am to 1pm.What happens after the casting call? How will I know if I'm chosen? We will hold call back interviews at My58 studios following the casting call. If you are called back, we will contact you at the phone number and email address you provide to us at the casting call. Due to the number of people we expect to audition, unfortunately we won't be able to call you if you don't make it to the next round of interviews. How long will it take? The audition itself will only take a few minutes, and we plan to move through the line as efficiently as possible. You may however have to wait in line depending on how many people are lined up to audition.Can I pre-register? No need to pre-register. Just show up at Roseville Kia between 10am and 1pm.
