A 54-year-old man died after a shooting in Stockton early Tuesday morning, according to police. The shooting happened around 1:51 a.m. on the 900 block of Porter Avenue, police said. When officers arrived, they found the man on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
