Two men were killed early Friday morning in two separate shootings in Stockton, according to police. The first shooting happened just after midnight at 12:21 a.m. at a park in the 5600 block of Kermit Lane, police said. Stockton police said a 35-year-old man was shot by an unknown suspect and was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries. The second shooting happened an hour later at 1:33 a.m. near Lindsay and Union streets. Police said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been identified.
