Vintners Resort

LikedThe grounds were beautifully maintained. We loved the vineyard views from our balcony and evening strolls through the vineyard were lovely. It was a peaceful setting. The restaurants were fantastic and the staff was always ready to help us with whatever we needed without being over bearing.

DislikedThe pool is under construction- and this was a surprise and disappointment for our July stay. Would also recommend top floor rooms- we had to relocate due to hearing guests walk around above us from the ground floor.

DislikedPool was closed. It was really inconvenient to travel to another hotel to swim.

Disliked- i booked a room with sofa bed and when querying the roll-away I was told that i get what I’m given as I booked through a third party (this one) - air con didn’t work and room was very hot. Multiple people went to fix, but was later at night. Told to sleep with windows open - very noisy from the main freeway the hotel is on (with windows open) - Manager (who dislikes bookings on third parties) said he would ‘try’ to have breakfast comped. He didn’t. All talk. - location is ok - nothing around. Booked as final luxury stay after two week roadtrip. Shame with the added niggles.

LikedLaura in the spa was amazing! I had a seasonal scrub w/ cranberries etc, but I'm sure any service she provides will be outstanding. All the staff was wonderful, grounds are beautiful and John Ash room service was delicious!

DislikedThe pool is more of a dipping bowl and the images on website are deceiving. The noise of the freeway is heard when out on my balcony, which is a bummer since you are surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and lavender rows.
