Constance W. "Connie" Hornburg

A beloved educator who dedicated her life to teaching young minds, passed away on July 4, 2024, in Racine, Wisconsin. She was born on July 29, 1932, in Arkansas City, Kansas, the daughter of late Eldon and Arlene (Wolf) Blass.

Connie had a passion for education which she pursued diligently throughout her career. She taught 2nd and 3rd grades at Pewaukee Elementary School for many years, and served on the board at Waukesha County Technical College, leaving a lasting impact on her students and colleagues.

Connie is survived by her three children Jeff Welch, Greg Welch, and Susan Welch. She is also survived by her two grandchildren Jarett Welch and John Welch, as well as her two great-grandchildren Sophia Welch and Amelia Welch.

No services will be held. Burial will be at the Village of Hartland Cemetery.
