Richard "Dick" Allan Ritter

Richard "Dick" A. Ritter, age 87, died on July 5, 2024, with quiet dignity that defined his life. Dick went home to the Lord on July 5th, 2024 after a three year battle with Pancreatic cancer. Preceded in death by his parents Gayland and Alice Ritter. Dick was born on March 2, 1937 and grew up in and around Prairie Farm, WI. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Nancy (Klotz), his three children Dean (Linda), Brenda (Corey), Jodi (Tom), and his sister Delores Getty. He was the proud grandfather to Jack, Erin, Ella, Grace, Adeline, Avery, Evie, Luke and Hadley. In his retirement years Dick enjoyed playing golf and softball. One of his greatest joys was to watch any of his grandchildren play sports. In the volleyball community he was known as “super fan”. Dick spent his life as a hardworking, dedicated, faithful and loving man. He had a long-standing relationship with God and lived his life serving others. Visitation and service will be held at Woodbury Lutheran Church in Woodbury, MN on Saturday July 13th. Visitation from 1-3 and funeral service at 3. Memorials preferred in Lieu of flowers to Woodbury Lutheran Church.
