Jack Wojciechowski, aged 74, who passed away on June 23, 2024, was always eager to share a dad joke, make you a drink and show off his flashy footwear.

He was born to Edwin Wojciechowski and Nina Ann (LaFata) on February 12, 1950. He had one older brother, Edwin (Carol), and three younger sisters, Diane (Jeff) Bolton, Mary Ann and Susan (Larry) DuPree. Raised on the east side of Milwaukee, he graduated from Riverside High School Class of 1968, and settled in Waukesha the last 35 years.

Jack provided expertise as a quality engineer with companies throughout Southeast Wisconsin and beyond.

Jack was always active and social, playing softball, baseball and bowling for decades, even appearing on television for a story about a senior baseball league and bowling several 290 games (“Missed it by...that much.”). He relished the hunt for a good sale and captured many a bargain. He played guitar in high school and in the last decade revisited that hobby, taken lessons and practicing his favorite songs.

He further followed his lifelong passion for baseball, and for 22 years was an usher at Milwaukee Brewers games, where he was able to share his gregarious personality with everyone he greeted with a smiling face and a hearty welcome, while basking in the sport that he loved.

Survived by Lois Dee (nee Brannen), his beloved wife of 40 years. Loving dad of Sheri Wojciechowski, Sara (Jarrod) Treppish and Ann (Brad) Kroll, stepdad to Patty (Mark Lippert) Dee. Doting grandpa to Lili Treppish. Dog dad to Koko. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and countless friends. Preceded in death by parents Ed and Nina Ann, stepdad Romie Szocik, sister Mary Ann, in-laws Russell and Francis Brannen and beloved dogs.

A Celebration of Life will be held in June 2025 at Helfaer Field. More information to come!

He left us too quickly but we shall always keep in our hearts and memories his deep love of family, his corny sense of humor and his never-ending zest for life.
