PLUMSTED – Township officials will be meeting with residents of the Lennar development on October 24 for a special meeting to once again go over the Township and Lennar PILOT program.
Residents of this development have found that they don’t qualify for certain tax benefits because the developer is Paying In Lieu Of Taxes.
The special Township Committee meeting concerning the PILOT program will start at 6 p.m. with an executive session and a public session to start at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 121 Evergreen Road.
The purpose of the meeting is to hold an executive session to review professional reports and recommendations regarding the PILOT program. Official action may be taken by the Township Committee.
