Shane Lowry will be one of the most popular men in the field when he tees it up at the Horizon Irish Open this week.

Fresh from receiving a captain's pick from Luke Donald for this month's Ryder Cup, Lowry heads home looking to recapture the magic of his famous 2009 win.

The Clara man has had a tough time of it this year and has recorded just one top-5 finish in 2023.

Where is the event taking place?

The K Club in County Kildare.

What TV channels are showing the event?

RTE 2 will be showing live coverage from 1pm on Thursday and Friday, while RTE 1 will be showing coverage from 1.10pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Sky Sports Golf will be showing coverage from 1pm on Thursday and Friday, before switching to an earlier time of 12.30pm for the weekend.

Can I stream the Irish Open?

The Irish Open can be streamed on the RTE Player.
