Kim Kardashian has maintained her silence after Taylor Swift admitted that the reality star "took her down psychologically".

Taylor, 33, has been announced as TIME Magazine's Person of the Year. But despite the joyous news of the hitmaker's latest achievement, Kim has not addressed Taylor’s TIME interview on socials and neither have any of her sisters, even though she was mentioned within it.

Taylor spoke about her famous feud with Kim and her ex-husband Kanye West in the new in-depth interview, with the singer saying that the long-running feud took her "down psychologically" to a place she had not been before. The drama, which began back in 2009, was ramped up again in 2016 when the rapper released his hit song Famous, which left Taylor upset over lyrics and accompanying music video. The lyrics said: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b**ch famous."

Following the fallout of the lyrics, Taylor's representative said at the time: "Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that b***h famous.'"

And then Kim released a video of a call between the singer and rapper that seemed to prove that Taylor was on board with the song. It was later revealed that it was edited to make it look like Taylor gave consent when the full video was released.

Now, almost eight years ago, Taylor has opened up on the situation, spilling to TIME: "That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year."

She went on: "I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard."

Taylor then spoke of how she believed that this drama was the death of her career and that it was "taken away" from her. The hitmaker then took a break before releasing her beloved Reputation album in 2017, which was linked to the image of a snake, as well as the rebirth of the hitmaker's image following the death of her reputation.

The album came after Kanye and Kim fans spammed her with snake emojis following the feud. Also speaking to TIME, Taylor added: "I thought that moment of backlash was going to define me negatively for the rest of my life."
