Woman left shocked by 'offensive' Secret Santa present gifted by work colleague

One woman has opened up about being left "quite offended" by a work Secret Santa present given by a colleague over Christmas.

Every year workplaces everywhere enter into the annual tradition of Secret Santa, when employees select a colleague’s name from a hat to see who they secretly need to buy a present for.

While most experiences can be enjoyable, one woman has shared her disgust after she received a "really unpleasant" work Secret Santa present that left her "quite offended."

Taking to Mumnet's popular Am I Being Unreasonable forum, one woman opened up about having been gifted an adult colouring book as her Secret Santa gift, asking for advice, Liverpool Echo reports.

The woman wrote a post titled Actually offensive Secret Santa Gift? Where she explained that she found the colouring book to be "misogynistic" alongside a photo of a page of the book showing a "sexual slur".

She wrote on the forum: "I have always avoided Secret Santa arrangements where possible due in no small part to threads on here.

“This year we had some new members to the small team I work in, in a professional environment, who suggested we arrange one amongst ourselves and to avoid looking curmudgeonly I agreed.
