The Roloff Farms Property Has Been Perfect for Family Vacations! Take a Tour Amid Matt’s New Sale

Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff shocked fans when he announced he had placed 16 acres of the family’s farm up for sale and subsequently removed the listing, opting to convert their former family home into a rental property instead. However, he changed his mind when he relisted the property for sale for a much lower price than the first time. Keep reading for details on what the rental listing includes and how to book a stay.

When Did Roloff Farms House Become a Rental Property?

“We are beyond excited to launch the Roloff Farms as a short-term rental with iTrip Vacations Northwest managing it.  Our target is to have the listing live and bookable this week with the first possible stay starting on November 16,” a rep for iTrip told In Touch in November 2022.

What Is Included In the Roloff Farms Vacation Rental?

“The listing includes the entire fully furnished and decorated home, the six-car garage that was converted into a game room, as well as the pool and hot tub,” the iTrip rep explained. The house sleeps up to 16 people and includes 11 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.

The home has been transformed into any fan’s dream rental with “a number of items from and about the show [being] incorporated into the staging throughout the home.”

What Did Matt Roloff Say About Selling the Farm?

The TLC star’s change of heart came after he admitted to not feeling “real emotional about [the sale]” and five months after listing the Oregon property for sale for $4 million.

“When I put the small side of the farm up for sale, I knew large deals like that take a much longer time (i.e. 6-12 months) to complete with no guarantees. What I didn’t expect was how many new business partners and networking connections I would make in the process,” Matt, 61, shared in his October 2022 Instagram announcement. “I have decided to pull the small farm off the open market and partner with [iTrip Vacations] and open the [Roloff Farms] to everyone and anyone who wants to spend a few nights in the Roloff family home.”

The father of four – who raised his children Zach, Jeremy, Molly and Jacob, in the farmhouse with ex-wife Amy Roloff – went on to say that they are “scrambling behind the scenes” to get the 5373-square-foot farmhouse ready for visitors.

“It’s my hope [that] many families will be able to pull together and have family reunions in this home. Who knows, maybe even our family will reunite one weekend at the old house,” Matt continued.

In August 2023, though, Matt apparently changed his mind about the farm and put it back up for sale, cutting the price down by about $700,000. The original price was listed at $4 million, but Matt put it up on the market for $3,395,000, In Touch confirmed at the time. iTrip Vacations has no more rental openings after Tuesday, November 27, which comes after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Is Roloff Farms House Available as a Rental During Pumpkin Season?

Four months before he relisted the farm, Matt announced in a May 1, 2023, Instagram post that “the big house still has just a few weeks left available for those that want a front row seat to all the action around here. www.itrip.net offers the best rates but all the others have it too. Two weekends in October still open. And YES @rolofffarms Pumpkin Season still on for 2023! Come see us … and stay with us!”

Prime pumpkin season comes with a cost though. A search for the weekend of Friday, October 13, 2023, through the following Monday costs $5,980. But for a large party of guests, that number would be split into smaller sums while getting to stay on the farm during the best time of the year.
