The former Hannah Montana costars separated after less than a year of marriage. Billy Ray filed for divorce on May 23 and indicated there are no minor children involved in their household.

Joe Jonas and Stormi Bree

The singer and his model girlfriend split after five months of dating, multiple outlets reported on May 31.

“Joe has a very busy schedule between his kids and his career, so his romantic life has to take a back seat for now,” a source told Us Weekly. The pair began dating in January after Joe filed for divorce from actress Sophie Turner in September 2023.

Scott and Jaclyn Stapp

Creed frontman Scott Stapp and wife Jaclyn announced their divorce on May 9.

“Out of respect for their family, Scott intends to navigate this difficult time privately,” a rep told People.

Dorit and Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley

Dorit and Paul “PK” Kemsley announced in a joint statement that the couple had decided to take some time apart.

“We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” the couple wrote via Instagram on May 9. “To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children. Ryan Seacrest and Aubrey Paige

A source close to Ryan confirmed to People on April 24, 2024, that he and girlfriend Aubrey had decided to call it quits. “After three beautiful years together, Ryan and Aubrey have mutually decided to part ways,” the insider told the publication. “They plan to stay in each other’s lives as good friends and support one another’s endeavors.”

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist

The Golden Bachelor’s Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist announced their plans to divorce just three months after they tied the knot in January.

“Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations, and we’ve looked closely at our situation, our living situation, so forth and — and we’ve kind of come to the conclusion mutually that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage,” Gerry said while appearing on Good Morning America with Theresa.

Christine Quinn and Christian Richard

Christian Richard filed for divorce from former Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn on April 5. In the documents obtained by Us Weekly, Christian cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for divorce. He also requested full physical and legal custody of the young son he shares with Christine. Christian asked for Christine to receive visitation rights and requested that spousal support be “terminated.”

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher announced on April 5, 2024, that they “jointly filed to end our marriage” in 2023.

“After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down,” they wrote on their separate Instagram Stories. “We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”

Chance the Rapper and Kirsten Corley

Chance the Rapper and wife Kirsten Corley announced their split on April 3 after five years of marriage. 

“After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways,” the pair — who share two daughters — announced in a joint Instagram Story. “We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.”

Gleb Savchenko and Elena Belle

Dancing With the Stars pro Gleb Savchenko revealed in April 2024 that he and his girlfriend of nearly three years, Elena Belle, had broken up. 

“Elena and I broke up about a month ago,” he told Page Six. “It kind of just happened. People always say life happens and sometimes I think, ‘How did it even happen?’ She’s an amazing person and everything. It’s just the timing.”

Tom Cruise and Elsina Khayrova

Tom Cruise and Elsina Khayrova reportedly called it quits just three months into their romance.

“They weren’t gelling and realized they weren’t romantically compatible,” an insider told Us Weekly, in an interview published on March 27. “There’s no bad blood between them,” the source explained, adding, “They just had different ideas of what their relationship was going to be.”

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan split in March 2024, as first reported by Entertainment Tonight. “Larsa realized this relationship is just not the one for her after spending some more time apart, filming a new show,” a source  told the outlet. “She wants to move on and focus on improving her life. They simply want different things out of life.”

News of their breakup came just weeks after they briefly split in February 2024. Despite taking a hiatus at the time, they spent Valentine’s Day together and confirmed that they were dating again when they filmed The Traitors reunion at the end of the month. However, the reconciliation did not last long.

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied

The May December star and her dancer husband finalized their divorce after 11 years of marriage, a representative for the actress confirmed to People on March 8.

Natalie had quietly filed for divorce from Benjamin eight months prior. She and Benjamin share two children, son Aleph and daughter Amalia.

KJ Apa and Clara Berry

Clara Berry confirmed that she and Riverdale star KJ Apa split on February 25. A fan asked Clara if she was still dating the actor and she replied, “No. You can see that I’m happier, no?”

In her TikTok video, Clara said that “everything is better” after the pair, who share a son named Sasha, ended their four-year relationship.

“I think it’s better to have parents who are separated, who are happy, and who can be the best version of themselves, than staying together in a situation that is not working,” she confirmed.

The Teen Mom stars split after six years of marriage, with Jenelle claiming in court paperwork that David’s “erratic” actions and “substance abuse” were the reason for their separation.

Gabriel Paboga and Isabel Posada

The 90 Day Fiancé stars split after about a year and a half of marriage, Gabe confirmed via YouTube on February 29.

“Me and Isabel are going to get a divorce. I’m tired of making excuses for her,” he told viewers.

Vanderpump Rules alum Brittany Cartwright revealed that she and husband Jax Taylor have separated. “On my last podcast I alluded to many marriages go through rocky times,” Brittany told her listeners during the February 29 episode of their “When Reality Hits” podcast. “Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I’ve had a particularly rough year this past year. Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.”

Romeo Beckham and Mia Regan

Romeo Beckham confirmed his split from Mia Regan in an Instagram post on February 25.
“Mooch and I have parted ways after 5 years of love,” he captioned a selfie of the former couple. “We still have a lot of love and respect for each other, and still hold a strong friendship and always will.”

After just four months of dating, Meri Brown and Amos Andrews split in February. The Sister Wives star shared the news with her fans in an Instagram post.

“It’s a strange and sad thing to care about someone so deeply, to look beyond their past, because heaven knows we all have one, to see the kindness in their eyes and their giving heart, and still know that a life long relationship isn’t in the cards for you,” Meri wrote. “It’s only in the dating process that you can come to these realizations, that’s what living and dating is all about. Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia

On February 20, Porsha Williams filed for divorce from Simon Guobadia in Atlanta, court documents obtained by People confirmed. The breakup came following the pair’s whirlwind relationship, which began in 2021. Simon proposed after just one month of dating and the duo tied the knot in November 2022.

Landon Barker and Charli D’Amelio

Landon and Charli announced their split on February 7 after more than one year of dating.

“Hey everyone, I would like to let you guys know that Charli and I are no longer together,” Landon wrote via Instagram Stories.

He added that the young couple “broke up to focus on [themselves]” but assured fans he and his ex-girlfriend are “still friends and have so much love for each other.”

The rocker’s son concluded his message with, “I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared and hope you can respect our decisions. Thank you, love you all so much.”

Charli did not immediately release her own statement regarding their split.

Sam Feher and Kory Keefer

The Summer House star revealed on January 16, that she and her boyfriend of nearly two years, Kory Keefer, had called it quits shortly before the 2023 holiday season.

“I’m not even out here to talk s–t. I think he’s great,” Sam said during an episode of Amanda Hirsch’s “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast. “I didn’t break up with him because I don’t love him. I broke up with him because he doesn’t love me and that’s that.”

The reality star ​explained that she told her long-distance partner and costar that she loved him but that he “never said it” back.

“That was, like, really a big problem for me,” the Bravo star continued, saying that it led to her realization that it was time for her to “get out” of the relationship. However, Sam insisted that Kory was “really mature” about the breakup despite being “floored” by ​her decision to end things between them.

Austin McBroom and Catherine McBroom

The YouTube power couple behind the wildly popular vlog The ACE Family announced their divorce after seven years together on January 10.

Catherine’s lengthy Instagram statement read, in part, that the decision to end their marriage was “difficult” but “amicable.” She added that the ​estranged couple’s main priority was to stay “united as parents” to their three children.

In his own statement, Austin called their split the “hardest decision of [his] life” and said that he and Catherine were both “supporting each other’s future.” He added that they planned to continue “influencing with love and positivity.”

Bryan Abasolo and Rachel Lindsay

Bryan filed for divorce from Rachel, whom he got engaged to during her season of The Bachelorette ​in 2017, on January 2, after four years of marriage.

“Many of you know me as a chiropractor, and also as a husband, my proudest moment so far,” Bryan wrote via Instagram that same day. “After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew.”

He added that “sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go,” and asked fans to respect their privacy as they “figure out [their] next steps.”

AJ McLean and Rochelle DeAnna McLean

The Backstreet Boys member announced his divorce from his estranged wife on January 1, 10 months after they “temporarily” separated.

“While we have hoped for reconciliation we have decided to officially end our marriage,” AJ and Rochelle wrote in a joint Instagram statement. “It is with deep love and respect that we have made this decision.”

The former couple explained that they planned to move forward in the “healthiest way possible” for the sake of their two daughters.

“We appreciate your kindness, respect, and privacy at this time,” they concluded their message.
