Kate Upton and Justin Verlander
The model and the Houston Astros pitcher met in 2012, and got married in 2017. The icing on the cake of their wedding was that Justin had just won the World Series with the Texas-based team.
“It was a very special moment. It was pretty storybook. The moment the gates opened and I saw her walking down the aisle, I lost it. She looked so beautiful, and I had been looking forward to that day for a long time,” Justin told People about their Italian nuptials. “All the emotions came to me, and it was everything I had imagined it would be and more.”
Kate and Justin welcomed their daughter in 2018, and continue to be each other’s biggest fans. If anyone was to dethrone Kate, however, it would be the pair’s little girl, Genevieve.
“I would like to be able to play long enough that my daughter can see me and remember me playing baseball when she grows older,” Justin said of Genevieve (and melting girl-dad hearts everywhere). “Maybe if anything, it’s going to push me to stay in shape and stay healthy, and be a good pitcher as long as I possibly can. I want her to be able to remember me on the field.”

Hannah Jeter and Derek Jeter
The acclaimed Sports Illustrated model and the New York Yankees legend met in 2012, two years before Derek’s retirement from the game. After getting engaged in 2015 and married the following year, Hannah and Derek have welcomed four – yes, four! – children.

Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker
The High School Musical alum and the former Colorado Rockies player first crossed paths in 2020, not too long after Vanessa parted ways with longterm boyfriend Austin Butler. By April 2021, Vanessa was dishing over her new love.
“He’s just kind of perfect for me,” the Princess Switch star told Entertainment Tonight. “I am [happy]. I really am. I think that it’s also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life. I’ve been making that a priority, and I feel like it’s just been making magic happen all the more.”
The actress and the free agent got married in December 2023, and Vanessa debuted her baby bump on the Oscars red carpet in 2024.

JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Nick Swisher
The Sweet Magnolias star was quick to win over fans, just as she was with husband Nick Swisher. JoAnna met the former Yankees player all the way back in 2009, and the pair wasted no time in tying the knot.
“I was pretty smitten from the very beginning but I was playing it cool. I played it much more cool than he did,” JoAnna told Us Weekly in 2018.
The Reba star continued, “We have a very real friendship. The one thing that really enchanted me about Nick when I first met him was he obviously was a young, successful guy but he was so happy and grateful. And I think we both have that spirit. So we work hard at staying close and connected.”
The couple have gone on to welcome two children.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Cutter Dykstra
The Sopranos actress and the Washington Nationals baseman tied the knot in a candlelit wedding in 2016 and share two children, sons Beau and Jack. While the baseball WAG has had a tremendous career as an actress, she has since shifted her attention to advocating for those with Multiple Sclerosis – she lives with a relapsing course of the disease.
“It’s a lot of gear, it’s long walks. It’s hot in Texas,” Jamie-Lynn told People about what adjustments she has to make to accommodate her condition and the needs of her young sons. “We got a big wagon that I can push, that I can lean on and throw all of the stuff in. It’s figuring it out with my husband and my support system: How do we do this?”
She continued of her husband, “I don’t know if there’s enough ways that I can describe my gratitude for him. He’s made himself available to me in every way that I’ve needed support.”

Misty May-Treanor and Matt Treanor
Matt Treanor might be one of the best baseball catchers in the business, but Misty May-Treanor might have him beat on the athletic front! Misty is, of course, known for being a powerhouse volleyball player, a three-time Olympic gold medalist and a Volleyball Hall of Fame member. Is there any competition between these two? Nope, just instant love.
“I wanted to meet somebody and have a quality relationship for the longest time and it just wasn’t happening,” Matt said back in 2014. “I said, ‘I’m going to concentrate on my game and go home and focus on making this baseball thing work.’ Then all of a sudden, here she comes.”
“We hit it off right away,” he continued. “I asked her to marry me two months after our first date.”
The couple has since welcomed three children together.
