Jennifer Lopez Just Nailed French Girl Chic During a Trip to Paris

She paired timeless classics with a few little personal touches—and it doesn't get more Parisian than that.

When in Paris, do as the Parisians do—at least that seems to be the mantra of Jennifer Lopez.

Fresh off her show-stopping appearance at the 2024 Met Gala, the multi-hyphenate is taking a well-deserved break in Paris with her daughter, Emme. The pair were spotted shopping in the French capital and, naturally, Lopez pulled together an effortlessly stylish, distinctly French look for the outing.

Keeping things simple and chic, Lopez donned a pair of flared, dark denim jeans with slight frayed hems and a timeless oversized white button-up—a classic combo if ever there was one. She added a little flair with an oversized navy trench coat, a pair of clear pointed pumps and the Hermes Kelly white handbag. She also added a pair of chunky gold hoops and oversized sunglasses to complete the look. She wore her hair down in a sleek, voluminous blow-out.

Prior to heading out with her daughter, Lopez took to Instagram to share a couple of selfies from Paris.

In the photos, Lopez wore a denim jacket with a fur collar and a supersized straw hat. "Paris ‘24," she wrote in the caption.

Lopez's chic, pared-down Parisian look marks a stark contrast to the glamorous naked dress she wore at this year's Met Gala earlier in the week. The gown, designed by Schiaparelli Haute, featured silver pearls and rhinestones along with a dramatic, sculptural neckline and an elegant rounded train. Earlier that day, JLo wore a more casual, but equally dramatic look, stepping out in New York in a bright monochromatic red and pink outfit.

It seems that for her Paris trip, Lopez is going back to sartorial basics—in her latest look, which pairs a classic pair of jeans with a timeless white shirt (along with a few little flairs, naturally), she looked like the epitome of Parisian chic.
