It wasn't just the warm weather that had the temperatures soaring over the weekend. Leave it to Eva Longoria to bring the heat to the Spanish coast in a flamin' hot red thong bikini.

On Sunday, the actress was spotted soaking up the sun with her family at a Marbella beach. She was wearing a fiery crimson swimsuit with a square neckline, spaghetti straps, and mid-rise thong bottoms. An off-white, wide-brimmed straw hat was both fashionable and functional as it shaded her face from the rays, and Longoria finished off her accessories with square black sunglasses. Her beach-waved hair was pulled into a low ponytail.

Longoria, who owns a house along the Spanish coast, was joined by her husband, José Bastón, and their 5-year-old son, Santiago Enrique, for her fun in the sun. At one point, Longoria was spotted applying sunscreen to Bastón's back.

Last week, Longoria traded her swimwear for a sexy little black dress at the 2024 Elle Gourmet Awards in Madrid. For the occasion, Longoria wore a plunging black Coperni gown with an upside-down metal triangle detail at her midsection surrounded by cutouts on either side. The slinky dress was previously worn by another red carpet fashion icon: Nicole Kidman. The actress wore the cut-out frock to support her husband Keith Urban at the 2023 CMA awards.

Eva's version was accessorized with silver drop earrings, dainty bracelets, rings, and chunky black platform heels. Her glam consisted of a glossy lip, fringed lashes, and one of her go-to hairstyles: the party pony.

During last week's event, Longoria was named the Ambassador of Mexican Gastronomy, thanks to her knowledge of the culture's cuisine (and no, I'm not just talking about her Cheetos-inspired research for Flamin' Hot). Not only did the actress star in her own travel and food show Searching for Mexico, but she also wrote a second cookbook titled My Mexican Kitchen.
