Red Lobster and Flavor Flav cook up limited time meal. How to get it in Indiana

Red Lobster and Flavor Flav are collaborating on something fresh — a signature lobster meal.

After ordering every item on the menu to help the struggling restaurant chain, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last month, Red Lobster announced on X (formerly Twitter) the pair had teamed up to create "Flavor Flav's Faves."

“As a long-time Red Lobster fan, I’m fired up to bring a little bit of my own flavor to fans with a meal featuring my seafood favorites,” said Flavor Flav, born William Jonathan Drayton, in a news release. “You gotta' get to Red Lobster and give it a try because this signature meal is hype, boy!"

The Public Enemy founding member has been an ardent patron of the restaurant in recent weeks, posting last month on social media that he would do "anything and everything" to help Red Lobster save its Cheddar Bay biscuits.

When can you order Flavor Flav's Faves?

Beginning July 1, Red Lobster customers can order the Hall of Fame rapper's signature meal, which features Maine lobster tail, snow crab legs, garlic shrimp scampi and bacon mac & cheese. It's available nationwide for a limited time.

How to order at Red Lobster

Flavor Flav's Faves is an off-menu meal, according to a news release from Red Lobster, which means customers won't find it on printed menus. They'll need to ask their server directly, or order the meal online at RedLobster.com.

According to Red Lobster, "Flavor Flav's Faves" include the following menu options:

  • Maine lobster tail.
  • Snow crab legs (1/2 Ibs.).
  • Garlic shrimp scampi.
  • Bacon mac & cheese.
  • Choice of side.

How much it costs at Red Lobster

While both price and participation vary, the cost is $40.99 with the option to add a beverage as well as other menu items. Those sticking to a 2,000 calorie diet be advised: Flavor Flav's Faves weighs in at 1,680 calories per meal, according to information provided by Red Lobster.
