When can you watch 'Inside Out 2' from the comfort of your own home? Here's what we know

Last week, "Inside Out 2" became the highest grossing film of the year.

The movie is still showing in theaters, but if you're wondering when you can see it from the comfort of your own home on streaming, it could be a while.

When does 'Inside Out 2' come out on Disney+?

"Inside Out 2" came out in theaters on June 14. Time Magazine reported that the film has a 100 day theatrical window, meaning that Disney will not be able to release it on streaming until that window is over.

Disney has yet to confirm or share a release date for the movie to hit streaming, but with the 100 day window, the earliest we can expect to see the film on Disney+ would be near the end of September (and it could be even later). Some sites think it could even be closer to the holidays.

What is 'Inside Out 2' about?

According to Pixar Studios, the movie returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley as she deals with something unexpected: new emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, the studio said, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up.
