The Eiteljorg Museum will be open to visitors for normal hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 4, however the administrative offices at the museum will be closed for the holiday.

The event features guest curators Alexandra Harris and Rebecca Trautmann of the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI), who worked on Why We Serve.

Interweaving Cultures: A Dance Performance by Joti Singh and Zenon

In connection with the Acts of Faith exhibition, the Eiteljorg is hosting a workshop and dance performance that combines Punjabi Sikh and Mexican Catholic traditions.

This event will take place at 1 p.m. on July 13 and is included with regular admission; museum members, veterans and active-duty military get in free.

Gallery Tour of the Why We Serve exhibition

This gallery tour features guest curators Alexandra Harris and Rebecca Trautmann of the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of the American Indian.
