Ethan S Flint, 34, was taken from family and friends much too soon on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Ethan was born on February 6, 1990 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was raised and resided in the Carmel area. He graduated from Brebeuf High School, and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University. He worked in research and risk management positions. Ethan was an avid athlete throughout his life. He enjoyed being active and was skilled at multiple sports including both solo and team competitions. He loved to watch his favorite sports teams, the Colts, the Pacers, and the Boilermakers, and recently realized his dream of visiting Lambeau Field. His favorite sporting event to attend was the Indy 500, where his highlight was hearing “Back Home Again in Indiana”. Most recently, he had become immersed in nature, wildlife, hiking and fishing. He and the love of his life, Bree, made a goal of visiting all the National Parks. They managed to visit 31 to date. He loved the beach, but his favorite place to visit was the mountains of Colorado. Ethan also enjoyed a wide variety of music. He had a beautiful voice and was a natural at both piano and guitar, even composing some of his own melodies. He was also always close to and protective of his sister, Molly, and loved spending time with his nieces. He was a lover of animals and a well-rounded, kind, intelligent, and compassionate person. Throughout his all too brief life, he passionately pursued spiritual truth and self-discovery. Ethan approached life in ways that many of us only consider but fail to act upon. He impacted positively every individual with whom he even briefly came into contact. He has left our world in a better circumstance than what it was like when he entered it, and there is no doubt that he would have continued to have an impact on us all. He is survived by his parents, Robert S Flint, II and Brenda S Flint, his sister, Molly (Flint) Green, her husband Clark Green, two nieces, Lyra and Cora Green, his partner, Bree Dill and her children Kate, Jack, and Lauren. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, July 14, from 1 to 4 PM at the residence of Greg and Sheryl Dill, (8816 William Penn Circle, Indianapolis, IN. 46256). Rather than flowers, please, make a donation to your favorite charity in Ethan’s honor.
