Weather Ireland: Met Éireann forecasts rainy Sunday as temperatures set to be below normal for early July

Met Éireann has forecast that said some parts of the country will face showers and drizzle on Sunday.

This morning will be dry for most areas while the northeast might see a few showers with cloudy conditions and sunny intervals.

Whereas, this afternoon might bring light rain and drizzle developing in the west and spreading over the western half of the country this evening. Temperatures will range between 15 and 20 degrees.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with light rain and drizzle extending to eastern counties and continuing overnight, with some dry intervals too. Temperatures will drop to 9 and 12 degrees.

Met Éireann has forecast mixed weather this week, with spells of rain and showers interspaced with dry periods and temperatures below normal for early July.

Monday morning will be mostly cloudy, bringing scattered outbreaks of light rain and drizzle, gradually clearing eastwards in the afternoon. It will be followed by sunny spells. Temperatures will be 14 and 18 degrees.

Monday night might start off mainly dry with clear spells. Meanwhile, rain and drizzle will develop in the northwest and spread across most of the country by morning. Temperatures on Monday night might drop to 7 and 10 degrees.

Tuesday morning will be mostly cloudy, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, while it will brighten up from the west in the afternoon with some sunny spells. It will become cloudier in the west during the evening, with temperatures ranging from 14 and 19 degrees.

Tuesday night might see rain spreading eastwards to all areas, with temperatures dropping to 9 and 11 degrees.
