Well-heeled ‘bargain’ hunters will be heading to a pop-up shop with a difference in Dublin’s Merrion Hotel at the end of this month.

BrandCo Paris, a pre-loved designer accessory pop-up, is bringing its collection of second-hand luxury goods to Dublin on Sunday, June 30.

Founded in 2006 by brothers Nathan and Baptiste Ballet, BrandCo Paris collects and trades luxury accessories, offering pre-loved bags from all the major brands including Chanel, Prada, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Goyard, and more.

Entry to the one-day-only pop-up store at the Merrion Hotel (11am to 5pm) is free, and BrandCo Paris is encouraging shoppers to trade in their own designer bags at the event.

Usually a digital-only platform, the pop-up store will also have a wide range of luxury accessories including purses, jewellery, and scarves.

The pop-up store will be held at the Merrion Hotel on Sunday, June 30, from 11am to 5pm

However, anyone hunting for a ‘bargain’ buy will still need a healthy bank balance as prices on the BrandCo Paris website aren’t cheap, starting at €190 for a Louis Vuitton Papillon Pouch in very good condition.

Some of the more expensive items in their collection include a Hermès Kelly Retourne 28 in excellent condition going for an eye-watering €12,265.

Such items are highly sought after in the luxury fashion market, particularly due to their brand, model, condition, or vintage status.

Designers bags like the Kelly 28 are highly coveted due to Hermès limited production and the waiting list often associated with new purchases.

Vintage Chanel bags, especially in perfect condition, are also considered rare. They often feature details and characteristics that are no longer produced by Chanel, making them sought after by collectors.
