A tough result to take for Leinster. They gave it absolutely everything but James Lowe's sin-bin coincided with a Toulouse purple patch. Leinster pulled a try back through Josh van der Flier, but Thomas Ramos' kicked the French giants to glory with 3 late penalties in North London.

That's all we have time for this afternoon folk, but post-game analysis and articles will follow shortly.

Its agonising for Leinster and Leo Cullen. Ugo Mola and Toulouse secure their 6th star.

Penalty to Leinster just outside their own '22 line. It is too little too late at this stage but Leinster have pride to play for. Ciaran Frawley kicks his side up to the Toulouse '22 line.

Ciaran Frawley takes a drop at goal to try and cut the lead to 6 points and hope to gather the restart but it sails wide.

Leinster put huge pressure on at scrum-time but Toulouse survive and clear their lines. There are just 90 seconds left to play and Leinster need two scores including a try.

Leinster win possession and advantage from their scrum inside their own half. Robbie Henshaw punches his way up to the Toulouse '22 but its knocked on. Scrum put in to the French club.

The Investec Player of the Match is Toulouse scrum-half Antoine Dupont.

Thomas Ramos thumps another monstrous kick between the posts with ease. The gap is 9 points with 4 and a half minutes to play.

Another penalty to Toulouse!

Cian Healy is isolated and Jack Willis prevents the release. Another massive opportunity for Toulouse to go two scores clear again. The game potentially hinges on this moment. Ramos surely won't miss from halfway as its directly in front of the posts.

Healy passed his HIA and resumes action in the front-row.

That was close! It looked like Ramos' kick was fading left but at the last minute curled back inside the right post. Toulouse lead by 6 points!

Antoine Dupont has kicked magnificently all afternoon. Hugo Keenan gathers but Matthis Lebel smashes the full-back into touch for a lineout to the French club. Caelan Doris sticks a hand into into the ruck off his feet. Toulouse will take a shot at goal from the penalty.

The second period of extra-time resumes! Ciaran Frawley gets things under way once more.

Cian Tracey has summed it up perfectly!

Both teams go through their breathing patterns and settle their nerves. There are just 10 minutes left in this contest.
Dylan O'Connell
Ciaran Frawley adds the extras! We are back to a 3-point game and Leinster have the advantage going into the second period of extra-time! Breathless stuff!

TRY FOR LEINSTER! JOSH VAN DER FLIER HAS DONE IT!

On the stroke of half-time in extra-time, the flanker has been aided by the TMO and the try stands.

None of the camera angles have helped thus far. TMO official Ian Tempest has clarified that the ball is over the line but is it grounded.

ON-FIELD DECISION IS NO TRY!

Josh van der Flier looks to have buried over the line but Matthew Carley is not convinced, calling upon his TMO official for clear evidence.

Leinster are up to the Toulouse try-line. Its phase after phase for Leo Cullen's side.
