Christian Horner confident in support he has from Red Bull team as he calls for swift end to investigation

An investigation was launched into "inappropriate behaviour" against the Red Bull team principal Christian Horner.

Christian Horner claims that the support from within Red Bull has been “overwhelming” as the F1 chief battles a continuing investigation into his conduct.

The Red Bull team principal also repeatedly disputed charges of “inappropriate behaviour” levelled against him by a female colleague, insisting he was “confident” of not being found of wrongdoing. He could not provide a timeline for when the probe would be completed.

Horner appeared publicly for the first time since the inquiry was revealed, at Red Bull’s 2024 F1 vehicle presentation at their Milton Keynes headquarters, and stated that he plans to be in Bahrain for pre-season testing next week. While unwilling to comment on the substance of the probe, Horner repeatedly emphasised that it was “business as usual” ahead of the opening race of the Formula One season on March 2.

“We hope matter will be clarified at earliest opportunity, after a fair & thorough process,” Horner said.

“Look, we’re one team, which... The support from shareholders that I’ve had has been fantastic.

“I think the support from shareholders following the death of Dietrich Mateschitz, again you can see the commitment that there is ... to the track car. So yes, I think we’re one team, and that support has been clear.”
