Right up until equestrian sport all but ground to a halt worldwide last night, Irish riders continued to make their mark at shows across the globe.
On Friday night in Dortmund, Germany, Tipperary-born showjumper Denis Lynch posted a win with GC Bushi's Chopin and Clare rider Eoin McMahon finished third with Chacon 2 while Kildare's Heike Holstein slotted into sixth in the Dressage Grand Prix with Sambuca.

At Palm Beach in Florida on Friday, Derry's Jordan Coyle and Eristov won the Masters Qualifier ahead of Cork-born Billy Twomey and Lady Lou in third while Wexford's Bertram Allen lined up fourth riding Gun Powder.
