Ireland’s Sam Bennett is heading back to the Tour de France after a four-year hiatus, it was announced today by his Decathlon-Ag2r-La Mondiale squad.

Having missed out on selection with previous teams three years in a row, Bennett was picked as part of the French outfit’s Tour line-up today and will return to the race for the first time since winning two stages and the green jersey in the 2020 edition.
