I know of a footballer given the offer of $7,500 to play in the US this summer. Flights and accommodation were part of the enticing package.

He was told he would be well looked after in every way possible. In fact, so well that he could expect to have all of the $7,500 in his pocket on the journey home, a sweet deal.
