A big weekend for Hozier kicks off with a sold-out show at Marlay Park this Friday, July 5.

The Take me to Church singer will then jet off to play to 45,000 fans at London’s Finsbury Park on Sunday, his biggest UK headline show to date.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of his Dublin gig:

Are there any tickets left?

The gig is sold out, but you may be able to get a resale ticket on Ticketmaster.ie.

When do gates open and when does the show start?

Gates open at 4pm.

Will there be an opening act?

Support acts include Brittany Howard, Lord Huron, and Ye Vagabonds.

What are the stage times?

  • 4:30pm: Ye Vagabonds

Can under-16s go?

All under-16s need a ticket and must be accompanied by an adult, parent or guardian over 18. According to Ticketmaster, you may be asked to prove your age with a photo ID or you will be refused admission. Acceptable forms are passport, garda age card or driving license.

How do I get to Marlay Park?

The Luas green line will be running from the city centre to Dundrum and Balally, with a shuttle bus from Dundrum Luas station going every half hour from 2pm.

You can go by Dublin city centre via Ranelagh, Clonskeagh, Goatstown, Sandyford, Grange Road and then onto College Road for car-parks.

From the M50, exit at Junction 12, signposted R113 Knocklyon/ Firhouse. Follow Scholarstown Road, Ballyboden Way, Taylors Lane, turn right onto Whitechurch Road and then left onto College Road. Entrance to car-parks is off College Road.
