More terrible news this week. Aisling Moore and her eight-year-old daughter, Abbigael, were killed in a crash in Mayo that left first responders like Fr Padraig Costello shocked at the horrific scene. Their funerals are today. It’s one more appalling accident in the litany of tragedy in the news cycle. Why are there so many crashes?
Then I go out driving and wonder why there aren’t more. On every trip I take, there are near-misses.
