A sports charity that provides services to 600 children and adults with disabilities faced closure after its insurance premium increased by 300pc.

Riding for the Disabled Association of Ireland (RDAI) had to shut down its facilities for long periods due to the Covid-19 pandemic and saw its insurance policy hiked to €30,000 this year.
