Staff have expressed their anger after Mey, who ‘led the university into disrepute’, stepped down while mismanagement investigations are ongoing but chose to take up a new professorship at UL

University of Limerick (UL) president Professor Kerstin Mey will resign from her role but her decision to take up a new professorship has angered staff.
She will take on the €137,000 to €173,000 a year role in September.
