Teachers are calling for guidance on how to stop the spread of cheating as a growing number of students use artificial intelligence (AI) software to compete their school coursework.

Paul Crone, the director of the National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals (NAPD), said a number of principals of second-level schools have contacted him to express concerns.
