A London-Irish family have been torn apart by a falling out over £650,000 (€767,000) loaned by the parents to their youngest son to buy property.

The depth of the “bad feeling, hostility and heartache” the case has seen a once tight-knit family with roots in Co Kerry descend into an “acrimonious and bitterly contested family falling out”, according to the High Court in London.
