Nature law won’t impact CAP payments, says Minister, as true meaning of ‘voluntary’ questioned

Land impacted by the passage of the Nature Restoration Law will remain eligible for CAP payments, Minister for State Pippa Hackett assured TDs in the Dáil last week.
Her comments came ahead of the law getting the backing of EU member states at a critical meeting of environment ministers in Luxembourg yesterday.
