€3.5m settlement for boy who fell off tractor driven by father

A boy who suffered severe injuries when he was six after he fell from a tractor cab and into the path of a mower machine has settled a High Court action for €3.5million.
The now 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named by order of the court, had some fingers amputated and later in hospital had to have part of a leg amputated, the court was told.
