2024 farm payments are back on track – Department of Agriculture

Department of Agriculture IT issues are being resolved and should not impact 2024 farm payments, a senior official told the Oireachtas Agriculture Committee last week.
Assistant Secretary Sharon Murphy said the Department expects payments under the Areas of Natural Constraints scheme will revert to its September date, while those under BISS, CRISS and ECO schemes will be issued on October 16, in line with previous years.
