Price paid by John Magnier and Coolmore for Tipperary's Killough Castle even higher than initially estimated

John Magnier and Coolmore are continuing to snap up swathes of available farm ground in South Tipperary, recently adding the 527ac Killough Castle near Thurles to their estates.
It appears a sales price of €6.5m quoted in other publications was shy of the mark and the Farming Independent can confirm that the actual price that led to a Magnier handshake was closer to €7.5m.
