The surge in land sales recorded in the 2023 REA land report and the power of the dairy buyer are no surprise to the individual agents.

Nenagh auctioneer Eoin Dillon described it as the busiest year in land he ever had, and the predominance of dairy is leaving tillage and beef farmers without little hope of competing for land.
