There are few more stressful places on a farm than a badly managed cattle crush. With nervous and powerful cattle at close quarters with the farmer, the crush can quickly become a dangerous place for both man and beast.

Midlands farmer Seamus Dunne has made a big step towards taking the stress out of dosing, AI or any number of crush-based activities through his invention, Crush Mate, which took the top prize at the Herdwatch Agventions competition at last year’s Tullamore Show.
