About 15 years ago, my boss decided the clinic needed a spring clean. Various bottles and containers were taken from the back of shelves and dusted down, having not seen the light of day for quite some time.
It was like Christmas morning for me as a young vet, and my eyes lit up at the some of the faded, crumbling labels. The boss was poring over a plastic bottle that was covered in just a little less dust than the others. “What’s this stuff for?” he asked, as half the label was illegible due to the effects of time, damp and mould.
