After an extremely challenging spring, I have noticed an air of doom and gloom among farmers and their professional advisors. The constant steam of negative news about agriculture and the environment is really getting to farmers — they feel helpless.

Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, water quality and the nitrates derogation, protection of biodiversity and habitats, animal welfare and live shipping and that undefinable term, regenerative farming… these areas of intense discussion are greatly affecting the mood of people in agriculture.
