I heard an agricultural advisor recently tell how an 80-year-old farmer client of his had to make a trip to a garda station to get a form signed for the transfer of entitlements.
Needless to say, the garda had no idea what the form was about, and the farmer was unable to fully explain why he needed it signed, so back he went to the advisor with no form signed.
